Dover police seize smattering of drugs from Firefly-goers

Police are starting to release information on those arrested for bringing drugs to Delaware with the intention of selling them at the Firefly Music Festival. 

Police said they seized from Jordan Reeser: $1,948 cash, 945 Ecstasy Pills, 40 doses of LSD, 13.3 grams of MDMA, 3.2 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 1 gram of cocaine, 39.9 grams of mushrooms.

Police say Jordan Reeser, a 26-year-old from Illinois, sold ecstasy to an undercover officer in Camping Lot 1 of the Dover International Speedway.

According to Dover police, he also was found in possession of: 

  • $1,948 cash
  • 945 Ecstasy pills
  • 40 doses of LSD
  • 13.3 grams of MDMA
  • 3.2 grams of crystal methamphetamine
  • 1 gram of cocaine
  • 39.9 grams of mushrooms

Police said he tried to flee while officers conducted a search of his belongings. He was handcuffed at the time and was caught again after a brief struggle, which police said led to a minor injury of a Dover police officer.

Reeser was committed to James T. Vaughn Correctional Center in default of $176,500 cash bond on the following offenses:

  • Possession of ecstasy
  • Possession with intent to deliver ecstasy
  • Possession of crystal MDMA
  • Possession with intent to deliver crystal MDMA
  • Possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine
  • Possession with intent to deliver cocaine
  • Possession with intent to deliver LSD
  • Delivery of MDMA
  • Possession of LSD
  • Possession with intent to deliver mushrooms
  • Second-degree assault  of a police officer
  • Resisting arrest with force or violence
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia

Dover police say they also arrested three people from Maryland who sold drugs to undercover officers in Camping Lot 2 of the festival on Saturday afternoon.

Arrested were: 

  • Jason Campion, a 28-year-old from Sykesville, Maryland, was committed to James T. Vaughn Correctional Center in default of $107,500 cash bond.  
  • Sonja Rodriquez, a 40-year-old from Nottingham, Maryland, was committed to Baylor Correctional Institution in default of $12,500 cash bond.  
  • Jared Specht, a 26-year-old from Sykesville, Maryland, was committed to James T. Vaughn Correctional Center in default of $27,750 cash bond.  

The arrest led to the seizure of the following items:

  • 70.6 grams of cocaine
  • 58.2 grams of MDMA
  • 7 capsules of MDPV (bath salts)
  • 1.2 grams of marijuana
  • 2 doses of LSD
  • $9,838 cash

Each subject was charged with the following offenses:

  • Possession of cocaine
  • Possession of MDMA
  • Possession with intent to deliver cocaine
  • Possession with intent to deliver MDMA
  • Delivery of cocaine
  • Conspiracy 2nd Degree
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
