Greenwood man wanted on attempted murder charge: police

A 38-year-old Greenwood man is wanted on an attempted murder charge after a shooting in Bridgeville.

Delaware State Police are attempting to locate Kasandan C. Clanton, who they say shot a 47-year-old victim outside a residence in the 2100 block of Mill Park Drive around 10:30 a.m. Dec. 4. Clanton then left the area on foot, according to police.

During the incident, a round struck a nearby residence, but no other injuries were reported, police said.

Clanton now has warrants for his arrest on charges of first-degree attempted murder, possession of a firearm by a person prohibited, first-degree reckless endangering and criminal mischief under $1,000.
